Terms and Conditions

1. The Texaco 'Roads to Adventure' trip to the 'Atlantic Road, Norway' promotion ("The Promotion") will run from 26^thJuly 2010 and close on 19^thSeptember 2010. The Promotion is open to all registered Star Rewards card holders, aged 18 or over and who are resident in the United Kingdom, but it is not open to the Promoter's staff, their families, agents of the Promoter or anyone else connected with the creation or administration of the Promotion.

2. Customers will automatically be entered into the Promotion prize draw each time their Star Rewards card is swiped at any participating Texaco branded petrol station when they make a purchase. Only registered Star Rewards cards swiped during the period referred to above will be eligible for entry into the prize draw. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. TO PARTICIPATE WITHOUT MAKING ANY PAYMENT, Star Rewards card holders may write to Texaco 'Norway Roads to Adventure', Dawley House, Ashburton Industrial Estate, ROSS ON WYE, HR9 7BW setting out their name, address, contact details, Star Rewards card number and their local Texaco branded petrol station (where applicable). All entries which are made within the period referred to above and which comply with these terms and conditions will be included in the prize draw. Maximum one entry per envelope. Multiple applications by third party agents will be excluded.

3. The Promotion prize draw winner will be drawn independently and at random from all valid entries received (i.e. entries submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions) and will be notified by letter within 7 days of the draw. The Promoter will confirm with the prize winner the relevant procedure for claiming their prize.

4. There is one prize (worth £5,000). The prize is the payment of the sum of £5,000 towards the 'Roads to Adventure' trip to 'the Atlantic Road Norway' between 1st October 2010 and 30th June 2011 as described in these terms and conditions. Arrangements for 'the Norway Roads to Adventure' trip can only be made through Shannon Singh of VCCP. She can be contacted by telephone on 44(0)20 7592 7466 or by writing to her at VCCP 5th Floor Greencoat House, Francis Street, London, SW1P 1DH.

5. The sum of £5000 must be used for the 'Roads to Adventure' trip to 'the Atlantic Road Norway' during the dates specified above. It can only be used for the trip to Norway and back to the UK, as well as travel along and accommodation in Norway and spending money whilst on the trip. Travel and accommodation arrangements can only be made through our nominated travel services provider and will be subject to the travel services provider's standard booking conditions. Payment of travel and accommodation arrangements up to the sum of £5,000 shall be made by Chevron Limited or its authorized agent to the nominated travel services provider. In the event that the travel and accommodation expenses are less than £5,000 the balance will be paid to the winner to be used as spending money on the trip. Details of the nominated travel services provider will be provided to the winner at the time they are notified that they have won the prize. Except for the payment of spending money (where applicable) as stated in the previous sentence, no cash payment shall be made to the winner. Transport costs to and from the airport within the UK are the responsibility of the winner.

6. The winner can also take other people with them on the trip. The winner is responsible for organising their own passport, travel insurance, visas and any health and immunization requirements and ensuring they have a valid driving licence if they will be driving on the trip. The carriers and hotels or other suppliers of accommodation are responsible for the service which they provide.

7. The winner will be required to accept the prize within seven days of notification. In the event of non-acceptance, a redraw will take place and a new prize winner will be drawn (the same acceptance period will apply for the new prize winner). In the event that a winner does not accept the prize, they have no entitlements, rights or claims in relation to the prize.

8. There is no alternative prize of cash payment to the winner. The prize may not be exchanged or transferred except as set out in these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value. The name of the prize winner will be posted on the Star Rewards website – www.starrewards.co.uk – within 28 days of acceptance of the prize.

9. The winner may be asked and must be willing to participate in non-paid publicity accompanying or resulting from this Promotion. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting any prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

10. The Promoter's decision is final in relation to the award of the prize and no correspondence will be entered into unless stated otherwise in these terms and conditions. Entry into the prize draw is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. No responsibility is taken for entries lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete due to Server functions, virus, bugs or any other causes outside the Promoter's control.
